How importing a car from Japan works
1. Sourcing
Tell us the model, spec, budget and condition you're after. We search Japanese auction houses and dealer stock and send you the auction sheet and photos before you commit.
2. Shipping
Once the car is bought it's transported to port and shipped to the UK. We keep you updated on the vessel and arrival, and deal with the shipping agent for you.
3. Customs and duty
We handle UK customs clearance and the import duty and VAT paperwork, so there are no surprises when the car lands.
4. Registration
IVA or MOT as required, DVLA registration and plates, then a full inspection and valet before you collect it from us in Studley Green.
